About Me

Kevin Ward, founder of Green River Design, grew up in the hills of western Massachusetts where stone walls and old farm foundations first sparked his love for natural materials. Now based in southern Vermont, he brings over 12 years of experience in stonework and landscape construction to every project.

With a design philosophy rooted in using local stone and natural materials, Kevin aims to create landscapes that feel connected to the land itself. As a Level 2 Stone Trust professional member, he combines traditional techniques with a refined design sensibility.

Working side by side with his small crew, Kevin is involved in every project from start to finish collaborating closely with clients, landscape architects, designers, and fellow tradespeople to bring thoughtful, enduring spaces to life.
